In the mood for some sheer silly fun? You'll have a gay old time watching this compilation of ridiculous musical cold openings from The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Puppets, dancers, costumes, oh my!
Ferguson made a recurring bit out of choreographing elaborate lip-sync performance to open his show, and the songs range from Britney Spears to Trace Adkins to The Rocky Horror Picture Show and all the way through to the absolutely epic opening of his final show, set to "Bang Your Drum" by Dead Man Fall. You'll also see his original tribute to Doctor Who (featuring a cameo by Matt Smith, the 11th Doctor) as well as guest appearances from Rosie O'Donnell and Jeff Daniels.
Sadly, a couple of clips are silent due to musical copyright issues, but the performances are still included so you can play your own copy of the song along with them.
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson ran from 2005 to 2014 on CBS, and it is sorely missed.
Andy Hunsaker has a head full of sitcom gags and nerd-genre lore, and can be followed @AndyHunsaker if you're into that sort of thing.
