Dame Helen Mirren can do no wrong. Last night, the British actress took full advantage of Zoom when she called into The Tonight Show from her bathtub, AKA her "favorite place in the world."
Host Jimmy Fallon clearly had no idea that Mirren would be calling in mid-bubble bath, as he spent a full 30 seconds laughing and praising the "great" surprise. "You might first be the first guest ever to be in the bathtub on The Tonight Show as a guest," he said. "That's the brilliant thing about Zoom," she replied. "I was thinking, you know, why not be in the place that you love to sit and chat to people? I love having a chat to my husband while I'm sitting in the bath. So, why not do it to the whole of America?"
The one problem with Mirren's evening dip? "I'm running out of bubbles," she revealed, before asking that Fallon make the interview "fast and furious."
See, Vin Diesel? This is why you want Helen Mirren promoting your movie.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 PM ET on NBC. F9, starring Helen Mirren (but probably not in the bathtub), premieres Friday, June 25 in theaters.
