Jeopardy! fans didn't have to wait long Monday night to learn the winner, as a technical glitch spoiled the game's results halfway through Double Jeopardy. As contestant Ryan Guzzo Purcell buzzed in to answer a question about the 1881 Haiphong cyclone, his fellow contestants' podiums briefly flashed the game's final results, revealing that Jackie Kelly would end the game with $28,801, and Amie Walker with $1,000. Interestingly, the glitch didn't seem to affect Ryan's podium, which featured his current (and correct) $13,200 total.
But Jeopardy's woes didn't stop there. The beloved trivia show experienced technical issues on Tuesday night, as well, with viewers on the West Coast reporting that Final Jeopardy mistakenly aired in the middle of the broadcast. Afterwards, one fan tweeted, the remainder of Double Jeopardy aired, followed by Final Jeopardy, once again. Whoops!
Jeopardy! airs in syndication every weeknight. To find the exact time and channel in your area, head to the show's website.
