Jimmy Kimmel spent the bulk of his Wednesday night monologue breaking down President Biden's State of the Union address, which saw "Congress Demons" Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene repeatedly yell at the president from their seats.
The ABC host said that their jeers made for "the most awkward moment of the night," and he joked that they must have taken a night off from yelling at the busboys at Applebee's to yell at the president."
"Here they are, looking like they're five hard seltzers deep at a Thunder Down Under show in Vegas. But it was embarrassing," said Kimmel. "And as irritating at their behavior was, we do have freedom of speech in this country, which means I can remind you that Lauren Boebert is married to a guy who went to jail for showing his penis to a teenager at a bowling alley."
According to the New York Post, Boebert's husband, Jayson, was arrested for allegedly exposing his penis to two underage girls at a bowling alley in 2004 (he and Lauren were dating at the time). Jayson pleaded guilty to public indecency and lewd exposure and spent four days in jail and two years on probation for the incident.
As for Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Congresswoman "spent last weekend speaking at a conference organized by a pro-Putin white nationalist," said Kimmel. "Klan Mom, this woman has so many issues with people wearing masks. When it comes to people wearing hoods? None at all."
