Without Regis Philbin, there'd be no Millionaire. So says the show's current host in this loving tribute to the TV legend who passed away in July at age 88.
In an interview shot earlier this year when Philbin visited the Millionaire set, Kimmel says "no one will ever be better at doing this than you. No one. Never. And I'm not just being false humble by saying that. It's true. You're the best. That's why people love this show. It's a great game, but Regis is the reason."
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? returns for its second season Sunday October 18 at 9:00 PM ET on ABC.
