Jordan Klepper Exposes the Canadian 'Freedom Convoy's Wildest Conspiracies

Jordan Klepper was hoping to experience "Canada Nice" at the trucker protests in Ottawa, Canada, known as the "Freedom Convoy" by those on the right, but instead, he found a slapdash group of conspiracy theorists. In a new segment for The Daily Show, Klepper spoke with many of the truckers, who appear to be "appropriating" American conspiracies, from QAnon to "Agenda 2030," a theory about government-sanctioned mass sterilization.

After hearing from a host of truckers, the theme of the protest emerged: "Make North America Great Again," two told Klepper. Of course, the "Fingers the Pulse" host wasn't too surprised by this development. "A well-funded, never-ending street part infused with misinformation and nationalism seems remarkably possible in our own Land of the Free," he concluded.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airs weeknights at 11:00 PM ET on Comedy Central.
