Kelly Clarkson was (quite literally) floored this week when Anne Hathaway beat her to the punch in identifying her iconic hit "Since U Been Gone."
During a "Sing That Name That Tune" game on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Hathaway, star of Apple's WeCrashed, identified "Since U Been Gone" after just a few notes, and she quickly stepped forward to belt out the chorus. Hathaway's powerful pipes overwhelmed Clarkson, who collapsed to the ground in extremely dramatic fashion. "Oh my god!" said the singer-turned-talk show host, once she finally collected herself. "How did you know it from just that?!"
"Kelly Clarkson, if you cannot understand how much we all love that song — everybody here knew it on the first one," replied Hathaway. "I love that song."
Poor Kelly. Maybe Hathaway will get her free tickets to her upcoming Kelly Clarkson tribute tour?
