Wanda Sykes did not come to play last night when she stepped onto the Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage as a guest host.
During her monologue, Sykes sounded off on allegations that former President Trump once told then-Chief of Staff John Kelly that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler "did a lot of good things" for Germany. According to Wall Street Journal reporter Michael Bender, who includes the story in his new book, 'Frankly, We Did Win This Election': The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, Kelly tried to correct Trump, prompting the former president to praise the German economy under Hitler. (A Trump spokesperson has denied that the alleged conversation took place, calling it "made-up fake news").
After hitting Trump with the "Side Eye Cam," Sykes issued him a reminder. "Hitler only did one good thing," she said. "He killed Hitler."
Fans who enjoyed Sykes' Jimmy Kimmel Live! monologue will be able to catch her again tonight (Thursday, July 8) at 11:35 PM ET on ABC.
