New Special Captures Moments After Cake Boss Buddy Valastro's Hand Was Impaled

Buddy Valastro, the star of Cake Boss, has a bowling alley in his giant house. While trying to fix an issue with the pin setter back in September, there was a horrible accident that somehow impaled his hand, causing grievous injury.

In this clip from tonight's new TLC special Buddy Valastro: Road to Recovery, we hear the 911 call, see the home security footage, and get commentary from an EMT on site who happens to be Valastro's brother-in-law.

We also can't help but notice that nobody is wearing masks in the footage (not even the EMTs), and that Valastro apparently continues to host family gatherings every Sunday of football season in New Jersey, a state with that just announced nearly five thousand new COVID-19 cases just today. But that's not addressed here.
