Back in 1998, years before she was on Saturday Night Live, and before she was even on Comedy Central's Upright Citizens Brigade, Amy Poehler would periodically show up on NBC's Late Night as Stacy, Andy Richter's little sister who was obsessed with Conan O'Brien.
In this clip, Stacy, in full awkward dental headgear, is pretending to be Irish to try to appeal to O'Brien on St. Patrick's Day, while getting upset with Richter for making her look like "the leprechaun of Loserville." O'Brien assures her that he's flattered by her attention, but everything goes to hell when he casually mentions his girlfriend. Stacy then flips out, screaming "Just like the Irish cast away their shackles of British oppression, I too will cast away my shackles of love, chains that have bound me in misery to your bony white ass!" She also threatens bodily harm to his "pale Celtic flesh" until another kid from her school is able to talk her down... temporarily.
