The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is usually a big event with concert performances from the inductees alongside their famous friends and admirers. This year, it will still be a star-studded extravaganza, but in the way such things are done in 2020.
After postponing the event from May til November, the in-person event was canceled a few months back, with a taped HBO special taking its place.
The Class of 2020 includes luminaries like Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, The Doobie Brothers, Nine Inch Nails, T-Rex, and The Notorious B.I.G., and the special honoring them will feature appearances by Ringo Starr, Don Henley, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Charlize Theron, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, St. Vincent, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, and many more. Even Judd Apatow, for some reason.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2020 Inductions premieres November 7 at 8:00 PM ET on HBO.
