Seth MacFarlane is escalating his feud with Fox News. On Monday night, MacFarlane stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he unveiled a clip of a Family Guy PSA that dismisses common misconceptions about the COVID-19 vaccine. The Family Guy creator, who shares a parent company with Tucker Carlson and the Fox News crew, explained that the PSA was meant to call out Fox News' vaccine misinformation.
"I looked around and I saw everyone else at Fox Corp. doing their part to get good science out there and be responsible with their platforms," he joked. "And looking down the barrel of that kind of peer pressure, I said, 'Well gosh, we've got to do something, too.'"
On Tuesday, FOX released the full, three-minute PSA that sees Stewie and Brian travel inside Peter's body to explain how vaccines work.
Family Guy returns for its 20th season this Sunday, September 26 on FOX.
