Give a late night host the term "testicle tanning," and he'll run with it. That was the case Monday night when Seth Meyers mocked Tucker Carlson for promoting the procedure in his new Fox Nation special, "The End of Men." The Late Night host insisted Carlson's "testicle tanning" pitch is "the weirdest thing that happened in right-wing politics this week," and he went in on the Fox News host for promoting the bizarre, medically unproven process.
"I like that Tucker says half of his viewers will think testicle tanning is crazy," said Meyers. "I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if you're tuning in to watch a Tucker Carlson special on Fox's streaming service titled 'The End of Men,' you might be down to clown with just about anything."
Meyers went on to say that the idea of exposing one's testicles to "red-light therapy" is "so insane" that not even Kid Rock is interested. When Carlson brought up the idea in the special, Rock didn't bite, saying, "I don't know what the hell's going on in this world. I'm not even sure if I understood that question."
"When you've lost Kid Rock..." joked the Late Night host. "Also, even if there was some sort of massive global testosterone crisis, is it already time to start tanning your balls?! Nothing is crazier than a conservative's second idea. 'I don't trust vaccines, but I'll eat some horse paste.' Are there ever solutions somewhere between Plan A and the craziest shit you've ever heard?"
Late Night with Seth Meyers airs weeknights at 12:35 AM ET on NBC.
