Over the past decade, Batman has gotten progressively darker, but a new trailer imagines what the franchise would look like if it finally embraced Adam West's campy 1960s television series. Created by popular YouTubers Corridor, the mashup replaces The Batman star Robert Pattinson with West, whose zany, cartoonish Caped Crusader feels miles away from our modern, no-nonsense hero.
Corridor's video quickly went viral, and it even got a stamp of approval from The Batman director Matt Reeves, who called it "amazing." Perhaps Reeves will incorporate some of West's antics into his upcoming The Batman sequel?
The Batman is available to stream on HBO Max.
