True to form, the New York Comic Con panel for The Expanse dropped a new trailer today for the show's fifth season. From the looks of things, the show's political intrigue is set to come to a dangerous head as Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander), the commander of the Free Navy, leads an uprising against those who have exploited the workers of the Belt for centuries. If Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo) is correct, it'll have some severe civilian casualties.
We also see Naomi (Dominique Tipper) trying to reconnect with her son, Amos (Wes Chatham) returning to Earth to face his past, Holden (Steven Strait) fighting his own disillusionment, and Drummer (Cara Gee) striking out on her own.
Season 5 of The Expanse is set to premiere on Amazon December 16, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday through February 3, 2021.
