The Mad About You Christmas Episode Where Paul and Jamie First Met

The 1992 Christmas episode in the first season of Mad About You also doubled as a flashback origin episode, catapulting viewers back to 1989 to reveal how Paul Buchman (Paul Reiser) and Jamie Stemple (Helen Hunt) first met. It involves Paul stalking her with dry cleaning, and Jamie taking a leap of faith to invite him to her office Christmas party.

This episode also features Lisa Kudrow as a failed blind date of Paul's. Kudrow would later play the role of Ursula Buffay on the show, the twin sister of Phoebe Buffay from Friends.
