If you or a loved one are experiencing symptoms of "Foxitis," The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has just the trick. Just one week after an attorney representing a Capitol rioter claimed that his client was brainwashed from watching Fox News, Colbert's team offered up a very simple cure: "Off, from the makers of 'Mute' and 'Change the Channel.'" Who knew it was that easy?
During Tuesday's broadcast, The Late Show aired a fake (or is it?) infomercial about the disease ravaging "many older Americans and people who are hoarding canned goods in their sheds." There are a few key symptoms of Foxitis, including "Bartiromononucleosis," "Blood in Your Doocy," "Tucker Carsonoma," and "Kayleigh McAnalcyst," among others.
But fret not: there's hope yet for those experiencing "Seanital Warts." Simply turn off your TV, and you'll be good to go. Now, where did that dang remote go?
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 PM ET on CBS.
