Even on a holiday, Trevor Noah refuses to take a day off from roasting Trump. In a 16-minute video released over the weekend, The Daily Show host explored how Trump is handling retirement in the months since he's left the White House. Spoiler: "not well."
Noah's supercut shines a light on some of Trump's post-office activities, from his promise to launch a new social media network to compete with Facebook and Twitter (both of which have banned him), to his ongoing scams of his supporters, and beyond. "Donald J. Trump, former United States president, and the reason America will be paying for decades of therapy," said Noah at the top of his "Mar-a-Logging Off: Trump's Retirement Life" segment.
He proceeded to launch into a mini-monologue about Facebook's Trump ban, followed by his new scam, his insistence on claiming credit for the vaccine, and his breakup with Fox News. "It was so weird to see Trump turn on Fox News because they were so loyal to him," said Noah, summing up the latter topic. "Even though Trump's been married three times, this might be the biggest breakup of his life."
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airs weeknights at 11:00 PM ET on Comedy Central.
