Wanda Sykes' time as Kimmel guest host has come to an end, but we'll always have the game of "Who Wants to Win a Black Friend" to remember her by. Last night, Sykes introduced three white guys looking for a Black friend and shepherded them through their faux game show journey. "One of you is going to get a new BFF — Black friend forever," said the comedian. "I've said many times that I believe that every white person should have at least one Black friend."
"Who Wants to Win a Black Friend" followed the typical game show pattern — Sykes asked her three generic-named white dudes (Ben, Brian, and Michael) questions about their interests, favorite Tyler Perry movies, and basic BET knowledge — but before turning over the game to potential BFF Brandon, she asked them one very important question. "I need to know one thing," she said. "Where were you January 6, 2021? Anywhere near D.C.?"
A few minutes later, a winner was crowned (no spoilers!). The grand prize? A dinner for two at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Winner winner, chicken dinner — literally.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! returns next week with a new guest host. New episodes air weeknights at 11:35 PM ET on ABC.
