The wide variety of TV options is a daily feature of the peak television era. But there are few nights a year that offer quite so wide an array of options for your entertainment attention span. Thrillingly addictive drama, razor-sharp comedy, superstar music, bone-crunching sports entertainment, dishy reality — it’s all here for you on this Sunday night in April. Choices will have to be made. Let us be your guide.
SEASON PREMIERE: While there is no doubt that Killing Eve was one of the strongest, buzziest, most addictive dramas of last TV season, expectations are high for Season 2. Last we met, MI5 analyst Eve Polastri had faced off against her obsession, the remorseless killer Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and then surprised maybe even herself by having the guts to stab Villanelle in hers. Of course, once Eve turned away, Villanelle had escaped, and when Season 2 picks up right where things left off, expect things to get even more emotionally twisted. 8:00 PM ET on BBC America
FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!: For its 35th iteration of its annual superstar event, the WWE returns to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for Wrestlemania. It’s currently a very fun time to be a wrestling fan, with the emergence of the women’s wrestling division proving to be wildly popular. So popular that, for the first time ever, a women’s match will be the main event, as Becky Lynch challenges champions Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to unite the women’s championships. 7:00 PM ET on WWE Network
SING! SING! SING!: While the athletic gods and giant personalities of th WWE slug it out across the dial, CBS is keeping it a bit more melodious with The 54th Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire. Among the acts scheduled to perform are Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, and Maren Morris. 8:00 PM ET on CBS
NEW EPISODE: After a season’s worth of ever-shifting loyalties, The Real Housewives of Atlanta begins the wrap-up to its season with the first part of its reunion. Expect the highlights (and lowlights) of the season to get rehashed, but most eyes will be on the late-breaking toxic energy between otherwise BFFs Nene and Cynthia. 8:00 PM ET on Bravo
