Afer a modest performance last year, a second season renewal for The CW's promising football drama All American was far from a sure thing. But renewed it was, a decision that seems to have since been justified by a strong run on Netflix this summer, sparking buzz that it could the next show to follow in the footsteps of shows like Breaking Bad and The Good Place, which managed to build momentum in between seasons and ultimately become hits thanks to the streaming giant.
