Hot on the heels of last week's premiere of the rebooted Party of Five, Freeform tonight adds another program to its lineup of unconventional family dramas with Everything's Gonna Be Okay, which approaches sensitive subjects like cancer, grieving, autism, and puberty from a uniquely off-kilter perspective. Here's what's new and notable on TV this Thursday:
SERIES PREMIERE: Freeform's Everything's Gonna Be Okay stars Australian comedian Josh Thomas as 25-year-old who becomes guardian to his two half-sisters when their father passes away from cancer. Watch the preview. The series debuts with two back to back episodes beginning at 8:30 PM ET on Freeform
NEW EPISODE: With just three episodes left, our own Kevin O'Keefe weighs in on how The Good Place has been the perfect showcase for the two sides of Kristen Bell. NBC has revealed precious little about tonight's episode, other than to say that Jason (Manny Jacinto) gives Chidi (Williiam Jackson Harper) some advice. (This should be interesting.) 8:30 PM ET on NBC
NEW EPISODE: Following the passing of their co-worker Myrtle (the late Linda Porter) the Superstore team learns she included Jonah (Ben Feldman) in her will. Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) guest stars. 8:00 PM ET on NBC
SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Featuring interviews with some of the late comedian's close friends, the ABC News special The Last Days of Richard Pryor takes an in-depth look inside the world of brilliant and troubled star. 9:00 PM ET on ABC
SEASON PREMIERE: The mid-season return of Legacies finds Malivore (Douglas Tait) adjusting to life as a mere mortal, while Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) determine whether Sebastian (Thomas Doherty) is a threat. 9:00 PM ET on The CW
