As Primetimer's Jessica Liese writes today, we've got a good number of questions we're hoping This is Us will address in its remaining five episodes this season. Tonight's episode, which sees the big three reconnecting at the family cabin, promises to answer at least one of them, as the three siblings unearth the mysterious time capsule Jack buried for them thirty years earlier. Also today: The Conners reopen their beloved restaurant, For Life gets into the groove, Ellen adds a new challenge to her line-up of favorites, and TruTV introduces a new primetime game show structured around the consumption of hot wings. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:
NEW EPISODE: Following the conclusion of "A Hell of a Week," this week's episode of This is Us sees the Big Three — Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Kevin (Justin Hartley), and Kate (Chrissy Metz) — reunited at the family cabin to reconnect, reminisce, and hunt for their father's time capsule. 9:00 PM ET on NBC
NEW EPISODE: The Lunch Box is back in business on The Conners. Meanwhile, Ben (Jay R. Ferguson, our new favorite dancer) wants to have a baby, forcing Darlene (Sara Gilbert) to sit down for a discussion about the the birds, the bees, and the exhausted mother of two. 8:00 PM ET on ABC
NEW EPISODE: As our Aaron Barnhart wrote last week, it's tonight's episode of For Life where the show really kicks into gear, as Timothy Busfield (Thirtysomething) joins the cast as a disgraced former state senator who becomes convinced that Aaron (Nicholas Pinnock) is innocent. 10:00 PM ET on ABC
NEW EPISODE: "Mount St. Ellen," "See You Later Alligator," and the newest game, "Dirty Laundry," are just a few of the challenges Ellen's Game of Games has planned for tonight's contestants. 8:00 PM ET on NBC
DOCUMENTARY: Inspired by the legacy of Martin Luther King, school kids — from kindergarteners to high school seniors — perform speeches and works of poetry in We Are the Dream: The Kids of the Oakland MLK Oratorical Fest, which documents this unique public speaking competition. Watch the preview. 7:00 PM ET on HBO
