Peacock, the latest addition to this year’s crop of new streaming platforms launches today. A megaportal to NBCUniversal’s vast catalog of TV shows and movies, Peacock boasts over 15,000 hours of content, anchored by a small selection of originals (with more to come). NEW SERIES: Featuring a cast of favorites from Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones and G.I. Jane, Peacock's flagship original Brave New World re-imagines Aldous Huxley's masterwork of science fiction in which a utopian society achieves peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. TV MOVIE: James Roday and Dulé Hill headline Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, the second feature-length film spawned from the long-running USA Network series. NEW SERIES: Crime thriller The Capture mesmerized British viewers when it premiered last year on the BBC. SERIES PREMIERE: Coronavirus production shutdowns have created a dearth of new scripted content on broadcast TV, which makes ABC's United We Fall a bit of a unicorn.
