Jason Sudeikis Brings His Fish-Out-Of Water Comedy Ted Lasso to Apple TV+

What happens when an all-American Kansas football coach takes a job managing a Premier League soccer team? That's the set up for the new Apple TV+ comedy Ted Lasso, which sees SNL alum Jason Sudeikis reprising the character he originated for a now-legendary 2013 NBC Sports promo. Also today: Teenage Bounty Hunters set their sights on Netflix, Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon Levitt star in the superhero adventure Project Power, and Apple TV+ releases the Sundance hit Boys State. SERIES PREMIERE: Bill Lawrence (Scrubs) co-created the sports comedy Ted Lasso with star Jason Sudeikis, whose titular football coach tosses in the pigskin, hops the pond, and takes on coaching duties for an English football team.
