NBC's American Ninja Warrior Reinvents Itself For Pandemic Times

As with most everything else these days, tonight's Season 12 premiere of American Ninja Warrior promises to look a lot different from seasons past. Taking extensive precautions to protect its ninjas and crew, the show cancelled its national tour, cut the number of competitors to 150 (down from around 600) and has compressed its season into just eight episodes. With $100,000 at stake, however, you can bet the competition will be just as fierce. Also today: The Bachelor has mixed emotions about Juan Pablo, the Madagascar gang gets its own Hulu origin series, and Biography takes a closer look at the immortal career of Ozzy Osbourne. SEASON PREMIERE: Fifty top ninjas (joined by two community members each) are set to compete in a special compressed season of American Ninja Warrior, shot entirely on a closed course inside the Dome at America's Center in St Louis, MO. Watch the trailer. 8:00 PM ET on NBC

SEASON FINALE: It's never easy to say goodbye, but The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever is softening the blow with one more trip down memory lane. Of course, memory lane may be a little bumpier than usual as this week's subject is one of the more divisive bachelors in the show's history: Juan Pablo. 8:00 PM ET on ABC

NEW EPISODE: A&E examines the twisted path of a legendary wild man in Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne. The two hour special follows Osbourne's life from his childhood in Birmingham, England to the heights of global stardom. Watch the trailer. 9:00 PM ET on A&E

SERIES PREMIERE: The gang from 2005's Madagascar get an animated origin story in Madagascar: A Little Wild.
