Game-changers rule the day this Wednesday as two icons of the late 20th century take center stage on the small screen. First up, Julianne Moore lends her star power to The Glorias, Julie Taymor's new biopic looking at the life of legendary feminist Gloria Steinem. Next, Ryan Murphy prsents the filmed adaptation of 2018's all-star Broadway revival of The Boys in the Band, the groundbreaking gay drama that helped spark a cultural revolution. Also today: The NBA Finals tip-off om ABC, the new Netflix documentary American Murder revisits a horrifying crime, and former Fox News anchor Shepard Smith takes up residence on CNBC. SERIES PREMIERE: Jaws dropped last year when longtime Fox News anchor Shepard Smith concluded an episoxde of his show with the surprise announcement that he was leaving the network, effective immediately. Almost one year later, he's back with a new nightly news show on another network, as The News with Shepard Smith makes its debut on CNBC.
