Michelle Obama Encourages Kids to Get Cooking in Netflix's Waffles + Mochi

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is set to do her best Mr. Hooper as she plays a friendly supermarket owner who helps two puppet pals fulfill their dream of becoming chefs in Netflix's Waffles + Mochi. Produced in association with The Partnership for a Healthier America, the new ten-episode kids series packs some serious star power, with the likes of Rashida Jones, Tan France, Zach Galifianakis, Gaten Matarazzo, Jack Black, Sia, Common, and Mandy Moore all dropping by to help extol the virtues of eating fresh healthy foods.

Also today: Mayans MC heads out on the highway for Season 3, Phylicia Rashad guests in a new This Is Us, and TLC introduces viewers to a real life Brady Bunch. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

COMPLETE FIRST SEASON: Michelle Obama helps two puppets named Waffles + Mochi embark on a global food expedition where they learn about different foods and cultures, with an assist from some famous friends.
