Detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), and their colleagues in the NYPD’s 99th Precinct are set to do some soul searching as Brooklyn Nine-Nine embarks on its eighth and final season. The cop comedy returns to NBC tonight after a lengthy hiatus, during which multiple episodes were re-written to better address George Floyd’s murder and the reevaluation of policing in America.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season premiere. As Amy (Melissa Fumero) returns from maternity leave, Jake (Andy Samberg) and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) work a difficult case.
