The Witcher Goes Anime, ABC Goes Surfing, and Snooki Gets Messy on MTV

Netflix travels back in time to tell the origin story of Vesemir, Geralt of Riva’s mentor, in the new anime feature The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. Also today: Snooki hosts MTV’s latest Ridiculousness spinoff, the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to New Orleans for a preseason game on ESPN, and ABC takes the wraps off The Ultimate Surfer. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf: Original film. Theo James voices Vesemir, a young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin in this animated origin story. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

Messyness: Series premiere. Self-proclaimed “Master of Messy” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi hosts this Ridiculous spinoff that showcases the internet’s most debaucherous clips. Snooki is joined by an all-star panel that includes Tori Spelling, Adam Rippon, and Teddy Ray.Two episodes air back-to-back Monday through Friday of this week at 7:00 PM ET on MTV

Monday Night Football: Preseason: The New Orleans Saints host Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 of the NFL preseason. 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT on ESPN

The Ultimate Surfer: Series premiere. 14 surfers travel to Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch for a chance to ride the legendary human-made wave in this new surf competition series. The show's winner will take home $100,000 and an opportunity to compete on the World Surf League’s Championship Tour, the sport's biggest stage. Read our review. 10:00 PM ET on ABC
