Netflix Bows Prison Comedy Hard Cell, School's Out for Abbott Elementary

The Office alum Catherine Tate returns to the mockumentary world with Hard Cell, a Netflix single-cam comedy about life in a women’s prison. All six episodes of the British comedy drop today.

Hard Cell: Complete Season 1. Catherine Tate (The Office, Doctor Who) sports various wigs and accents as she guides viewers through the ups and downs of life in a fictional women’s prison. Tate, who created and directs the series, plays a host of different characters, from prison governor Laura Willis to Big Viv, a musical-loving lifer. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

Abbott Elementary: Season 1 finale. While on Abbott’s annual zoo field trip, Tariq (Zack Fox) unexpectedly reveals that he’s been offered a job in New York. As Janine (Quinta Brunson) struggles with a big choice, Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph) starts questioning her future after finding out her favorite tuatara has been retired because of old age. 9:00 PM ET on ABC

The Thing About Pam: Limited series finale. Pam (Renée Zellweger) goes to shocking and absurd extremes to extricate herself from the web of lies she’s spun. Later, those involved in Betsy’s (Katy Mixon) death and its aftermath find some measure of justice, redemption, and hope. Watch preview. 10:00 PM ET on NBC

Name That Tune: New episode. It’s a battle of the Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars as Jennie Garth and Ian Ziering test their song knowledge. In the second game, Grammy winner Shaggy and actress Kim Fields face off. 9:00 PM ET on FOX

FBI: New episode. When a young couple is found murdered in a New York City park after returning from vacation, the team searches for a suspect linked to the drug trade. Followed by new episodes of FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

The Girl From Plainville: New episode. While the prosecution and defense get their strategies in place for the trial, Michelle’s (Elle Fanning) isolation from her peers pushes her to a breaking point. Mr. Mayor: New episode. Neil (Ted Danson) can’t wait to show off his deal-making skills with the visiting mayors of L.A.’s sister cities, but chaos ensues when he mistakes a group of film extras for the real mayors. 8:30 PM ET on NBC

This Is Us: New episode. Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby’s (Chris Sullivan) relationship evolves over the course of several years. Watch preview. 9:00 PM ET on NBC
