Black-ish Says Goodbye After 8 Seasons — With an Assist From Simone Biles

    Black-ish has seen a veritable parade of A-list guest stars over its eight-year tenure on ABC, and tonight's series finale continues the tradition with Olympic gymnast Simone Biles playing a key role. Following the finale, the cast and crew will reflect on the show’s legacy in a half-hour special.

    Also today: 30 for 30 recounts Greg Norman’s 1996 Masters collapse, Mayans M.C. kicks off its fourth season with a two-episode premiere, and Netflix charts the rise and fall of Abercrombie & Fitch in a new documentary. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

    Black-ish: Series finale (special time). As Pops (Laurence Fishburne) and Ruby (Jenifer Lewis) prepare to move away, Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) consider whether they should make a big life change as well. Grappling with this idea at work, Dre receives some unexpected advice from Simone Biles. Watch preview. 9:00 PM ET on ABC

    Black-ish: A Celebration: Special presentation. Immediately following the Black-ish finale, ABC airs a half-hour special that's set to see creator Kenya Barris and his Emmy-nominated cast pay tribute to their now-iconic TV family. 9:30 PM ET on ABC

    30 for 30: Shark: Special presentation. As Primetimer's Joe Reid writes today, many of the very best 30 For 30 docs have been about the agony of defeat, and tonight's installment about how the legendary career of professional golfer Greg Norman was shaped by one stunning day at the 1996 Masters Tournament promises to continue the tradition.     Mayans M.C.: Season 4 premiere. Once the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp, Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo), his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas), and the rest of the Santo Padre M.C. face retaliation from other chapters after a failed attempt to align under one King. Meanwhile, EZ and Angel have grown distant from their father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) after a heart wrenching betrayal. Two episodes air back-to-back tonight. Watch trailer. 10:00 PM ET on FX

    White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch: Original documentary. In the late ‘90s and early ‘00s, Abercrombie & Fitch became the go-to store for young people hoping to earn a spot at the cool kids’ table, but revelations of exclusionary marketing and discriminatory hiring practices ultimately engulfed the brand in scandal. This Netflix doc features interviews with dozens of former employees, executives, and models who aim to unravel the complex history of the brand that influenced an entire generation. Read our review.     New Amsterdam: Season 4 spring premiere. The New Amsterdam team goes out for a night of karaoke and drinking, but must face the consequences at work the next day. There, Iggy (Tyler Labine) helps a mysterious patient confront a past trauma, and Reynolds (Jocko Sims) and Dr. Malvo (Frances Turner) discuss their future, and Leyla (Shiva Kalaiselvan) gives Bloom (Janet Montgomery) some bad news.     The Girl From Plainville: New episode. The prosecution lays out Michelle’s (Elle Fanning) involvement in Coco’s (Colton Ryan) death, and Lynn Roy takes the stand. Three years prior, Michelle finds help for her eating disorder while Coco dives deeper into his depression. Watch preview. Streaming on Hulu

    Pacific Rim: The Black: Complete Season 2 (series finale). Netflix’s animated series wraps with a new season that sees teenage assassin Mei and human/kaiju hybrid bOy join siblings Taylor and Hayley in their fight against bloodthirsty cult Sisters of the Kaiju.
