Stranger Things and Obi-Wan Kenobi Battle for Streaming Supremacy

It’s a battle of the streaming heavyweights as Stranger Things Season 4 and Disney+ spinoff Obi-Wan Kenobi vie for eyeballs this holiday weekend. Both seasons have been in the works for years, but which will come out on top?

FRIDAY MAY 27

Stranger Things: Season 4, Volume 1. Six months after the Battle of Starcourt, the gang is separated for the first time as they navigate the complexities of high school. But when a new supernatural threat surfaces, they reunite to finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down. Obi-Wan Kenobi: Series premiere. Ewan McGregor reprises his role as the iconic Jedi Master in a new spinoff set ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. As Obi-Wan grapples with the renewed power of Sith Lord Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen), he turns his attention to 10-year-old Luke Skywalker (Grant Feely) on Tatooine and embarks on a great adventure around the galaxy. Emergency: Original film. Ready for a night of partying, three college students of color must weigh the pros and cons of calling the police when they discover an unconscious girl in their dorm room. Shoresy: Complete Season 1. Fan favorite Letterkenny character Shoresy (Jared Keeso) takes center ice in this spinoff that sees him join a senior AAA hockey team in Sudbury on a quest to never lose again. Carpool Karaoke: The Series: Season 5 premiere. Celebrities get behind the wheel and sing along to their personal playlists in a new season of the James Corden-produced series. Transplant: New episode (new time slot). Bash’s (Hamza Haq) past weighs heavily on him as he fights for an emancipated teenager with a failing kidney. Meanwhile, Mags (Laurence Leboeuf) treats a baby with a complicated heart condition, and Theo (Jim Watson) is surprised by a young asthma patient’s brazen mother.
