Superheroes are the order of the day today as Netflix's The Umbrella Academy returns for its third season and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits Disney+ following its theatrical release. The Umbrella Academy: Complete third season. Back at the Academy, the Umbrellas clash with a new squad of Hargreeves siblings, the Sparrow Academy, as a mysterious force begins to wreak havoc on the city. The drama’s third season sees Elliot Page’s character come out as transgender and introduces newcomers including Cazzie David, Jake Epstein, and Justin Cornwell. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: Streaming premiere. The MCU pushes the boundaries of the Multiverse further than ever before as Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) traverses mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities to confront a mysterious new adversary. Snowflake Mountain: Complete first season. Ten spoiled young adults are put to the test at a wilderness survival retreat to help kick start their journey to independent living. Obi-Wan Kenobi: Limited series finale. Disney’s Star Wars prequel comes to an end after six episodes. The drama is billed as a limited series, but star Ewan McGregor has said he'd like to make another season. Streaming on Disney+
Chernobyl: The Lost Tapes: Original documentary. Emmy-winning filmmaker James Jones (Mosul) uncovers a wealth of never-before-seen footage shot in the days, weeks, and months following the Chernobyl explosion to highlight the true scope of the cataclysmic event and the lengths to which the Soviet Union went to cover it up. Love & Gelato: Original film. A pre-med student has the summer of a lifetime in Rome, using her mom’s old journal as a guide as she slowly falls for the city’s charms, its people, and its gelato. Wellington Paranormal: Season 3 premiere. Officers Minogue (Mike Minogue) and O’Leary (Karen O’Leary) are back on the case as they hunt down a monstrous invisible force. Two episodes of the Kiwi comedy air tonight. 9:00 PM ET on The CW
