    TV's best and brightest gather as Kenan Thompson hosts the 74th Emmy Awards tonight on NBC and Peacock. Ted Lasso, Succession, and The White Lotus are among the favorites to win this year, which sees the in-person ceremony return to the Microsoft Theater for the first time since the pandemic began.

    Also today: Jennifer Hudson and Sherri Shepherd launch new daytime talk shows, Days of Our Lives moves to Peacock, and more. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Monday:

    74th Primetime Emmy Awards: Special presentation. After two years of COVID-affected shows, the 2022 Emmys return to normalcy with an indoor, in-person broadcast hosted by longtime SNL star Kenan Thompson. All eyes are on Succession, which heads into the award show with 25 nominations, but potential upsets await in the comedy and limited series categories. 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT on NBC and Peacock

    E! Live From the Red Carpet: The 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards: Special presentation. Laverne Cox leads E!’s correspondents as they chat with the stars before they head into the award show and dissect the best fashion moments of the night. 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT on E!

    The Jennifer Hudson Show: Series premiere. EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson brings her talents to daytime in a new syndicated talk show produced by the team behind Ellen.     Sherri: Series premiere. Former The View co-host Sherri Shepherd revamps Wendy Williams’ long-held timeslot in her return to daytime.     Days of Our Lives: Streaming premiere. The iconic daytime soap moves exclusively to Peacock as part of a shift that ends 57 years of broadcast airings. New episodes will drop Monday-Friday on the streaming service — but subscribers will need to upgrade to a paid subscription ($4.99/month for Premium, or $9.99/month for Premium Plus) to access the soap.     Monday Night Football: The Seattle Seahawks host the Denver Broncos to kick off another season of MNF matchups. 8:15 PM ET/5:15 PM PT on ABC and ESPN

    Don’t Forget the Lyrics: Season 1 finale. A U.S. Marine single mom and a nurse with a karaoke superpower have one last chance to hit the right notes and win $1 million in the finale. 8:00 PM ET on FOX

    Below Deck Mediterranean: New episode. The crew gets groovy and pulls together a ‘70s inspired party for the guests. 8:00 PM ET on Bravo

    War of the Worlds: Season 3 premiere (special night). As the war between the survivors and aliens reaches a turning point and a terrifying phenomenon grips the globe, one survivor sets out to investigate, forming a tentative partnership with another unlikely hero along the way.     Kevin Can F**k Himself: New episode. When Allison (Annie Murphy) decides to throw a surprise birthday party for Patty (Mary Hollis Inboden), Kevin (Eric Petersen) agrees to help with the planning once he realizes he can use the situation to his advantage. 9:00 PM ET on AMC

    Real Girlfriends in Paris: New episode. The Bravo series returns to its usual night and time after a special double airing last week. 9:00 PM ET on Bravo

    Industry: New episode. After receiving confirmation that the London office will merge with New York, Harper (Myha’la Herrold), Eric (Ken Leung), and Rishi (Sagar Radia) team up to pitch their small global force to rival banks. 9:00 PM ET on HBO

    Monarch: Encore presentation. FOX re-airs the series premiere of the multi-generational drama, which stars Susan Sarandon as Queen of Country Music Dottie Cantrell Roman and Trace Adkins as her beloved husband, Albie Roman. In the premiere, their reign as country royalty is threatened, prompting their daughter Nicolette “Nicky” Roman (Anna Friel) to go to extreme measures to protect her family’s legacy.
