GBBS, Heathers: The Musical, and Do Revenge Kick Off a Busy Weekend on TV

It’s yet another packed weekend on television, as The Great British Baking Show Season 10 arrives on Netflix, Roku brings Heathers: The Musical to the small screen, and Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes Do Revenge.

Plus, Naomi Watts remakes horror flick Goodnight Mommy, Love Is Blind returns with a new installment of After the Altar, and Los Espookys returns for Season 2. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this weekend:

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 16

The Great British Baking Show: Season 10 premiere. Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Noel Fielding, and Matt Lucas welcome 12 new home bakers to the tent as the beloved British competition kicks off a new season. Episodes are set to drop Fridays through November 18. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

Heathers: The Musical: Original film. Roku brings London’s stage production of Heathers: The Musical to the small screen. Do Revenge: Original film. After a clandestine run-in, fallen it girl Drea (Camila Mendes) and the alternative Eleanor (Maya Hawke) team up to go after each other’s tormentors in this Hitchcock-ian dark comedy. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

Goodnight Mommy: Original film. When a mother (Naomi Watts) returns home from a cosmetic surgery with her face wrapped in bandages, her twin sons (Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti) quickly become concerned with her erratic behavior. Love Is Blind: After the Altar: Complete Season 2. The cast of Love Is Blind Season 2 offers viewers a window into their lives post-experiment in three new episodes. Though two of the season’s couples, Jarrett and Iyanna and Nick and Danielle, have now separated, that drama is not included in the season, which was filmed earlier this year. Watch trailer. Los Espookys: Season 2 premiere. The Los Espookys team works to expand their horror business while battling inner demons and personal drama of their own. The bilingual horror comedy returns to HBO after more than three years away, with the entire cast — Ana Fabrega, Julio Torres, Cassandra Ciangherotti, Bernardo Velasco, and Fred Armisen — returning.
