Tim Allen's The Santa Clause Gets the Series Treatment, Finale Time for AHS: NYC

Nearly 30 years after Scott Calvin first brought holiday cheer to the big screen, Tim Allen reprises the iconic role in a sequel series for Disney+, The Santa Clauses. Elizabeth Mitchell, Eric Lloyd, and David Krumholtz will reprise their roles from the film series alongside newcomers Kal Penn and Laura San Giacomo.

The Santa Clauses: Series premiere. After being Santa Claus for nearly 30 years, Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) is as jolly as ever, but when his magic begins to falter, he considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so he can become a better father and husband. In addition to Allen, the sequel stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Calvin, Eric Lloyd, Austin Kane, and Elizabeth Allen-Dick as their children, and even Peyton Manning as a potential Santa replacement. American Horror Story: NYC: Season finale. In a two-part finale, grief and peril dominate Gino (Joe Mantello), while the discovery of a tragedy becomes a revelation for Adam (Charlie Carver). Leverage: Redemption: Season 2 premiere. The Leverage team’s skills are put to the test by everything from a husband-and-wife team running a multi-level marketing scam, to a music producer who abuses his power over vulnerable women. Limitless With Chris Hemsworth: Complete Season 1. Thor star Chris Hemsworth takes viewers on a personal journey as he explores how to combat aging and discover the full potential of the human body. Documentary Now!: Season 4 finale. The comedy pays homage to Agnès Varda with an episode that tells the story of a French filmmaker and her search for “frisson,” the thrills that fuel her creativity. 10:00 PM ET on IFC

In Her Hands: Original documentary. Directors Tamana Ayazi and Marcel Mettelsiefen follow Zarifa Ghafari, one of Afghanistan’s first female mayors and the youngest person to hold the position, as she fights to survive in the months leading up to the Taliban takeover in 2021.
