Your Guide to the Celebrity Guest Voices of Central Park Season 3

Returning for its third season on Apple TV+ this week, creator Loren Bouchard's animated series Central Park remains a sneakily ambitious piece of television, featuring original music in each episode and leaning heavily on a tremendously talented cast of voice performers.

The main cast includes Tony winner Leslie Odom, Jr. as Owen Tillerman, live-in groundskeeper in New York's Central Park, alongside Kathryn Hahn as his reporter wife Paige and Tituss Burgess and Emmy Raver-Lampman as kids Cole and Molly. All the while, wealthy socialite and hotel owner Bitsey Brandenham (Stanley Tucci) glowers from on her perch, alongside her deadpan and longsuffering assistant Helen (Daveed Diggs).

Season 3 sees a handful of new stories brewing. Having exposé'd the city's corrupt mayor out of a job last season, Paige is writing a book this year, as well as welcoming her younger sister to town. Meanwhile, Owen continues to watch out for the Park's best interests via a working relationship with the new mayor, all while Bitsey continues to try and exert her political influence for her own rich-person agenda.

In past seasons, Central Park has flourished with guest stars that have included the likes of H. Jon Benjamin, Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Catherine O'Hara, Billy Porter, Andrew Rannells, and Henry Winkler. This season continues the trend with the return of a former cast member (in a new role) and pretty much the entire cast of fellow Apple TV+ comedy The Afterparty. Ken Marino as Nathan Turrent

Ken Marino is a comedic actor who's appeared in dozens of shows and movies, from Party Down to Wet Hot American Summer. Most recently, he's been a regular on HBO Max's The Other Two and has appeared in the Babysitter films for Netflix. This season on Central Park He be provides the voice for Nathan Turrent, the director and producer of the Tillermans' favorite TV procedural, Gina Tracker, FBI, which films an episode in Central Park.

Sam Richardson as Mayor Leeds

The city has a new mayor in Season 3 — or at least an interim mayor — played by Veep and Detroiters star Sam Richardson. Richardson most recently starred as Aniq on the Apple TV+ comedy The Afterparty, which shares a ton of its cast members with Central Park this season, including Ben Schwartz, Jamie Demetriou, and a few others listed below.

Kristen Bell as Abby

Longtime fans of Central Park will remember that Kristen Bell originally (and controversially) provided the voice of mixed-race character Molly Tillerman. In Season 2, Bell was replaced as Molly's voice by Emmy Raver-Lampman, although at the time producers said that Bell would be re-cast in another role. Well, that role is here, and it's as Paige's younger sister Abby, an aspiring actress who moves to New York City after living her whole life in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Mark Proksch as Lester Posey

Mark Proksch has spent four seasons playing energy vampire Colin Robinson on What We Do in the Shadows. Or, more specifically, he spent three seasons playing Colin Robinson and then in the most recent season he played the childlike creature that emerged from the steaming carcass of Colin Robinson. This season on Central Park he provides the voice of Lester Posey, a small-time photographer who Paige eyes warily when he offers to take headshots for Abby.

David Alan Grier as Spencer

David Alan Grier first burst on the scene in the Fox sketch comedy series In Living Color, but his career has stretched far beyond that, from films (Jumanji) to TV (The Wiz Live!, The Carmichael Show) to Broadway, where he is a four-time Tony nominee, finally winning in 2021 for A Soldier's Play. This season on Central Park, he voices Spencer, a heretofore unknown suitor for Helen who shows up for a secret rendezvous.

Joel Kim Booster as Min-joon

The writer and star of this summer's hit gay romantic comedy Fire Island, and co-star with Maya Rudolph on Loot, comedian Joel Kim Booster is having a breakthrough year. This season on Central Park, he plays one member of a K-Pop boy band with whom the Tillerman family becomes obsessed.

Tracie Thoms as Morgan Freewoman

Tracie Thoms is probably most widely known for playing Joanne in the Rent movie or as one of Anne Hathaway's friends in The Devil Wears Prada. She also starred for five seasons on the CBS procedural Cold Case, performed on Broadway in the acclaimed revival of Falsettos, and most recently has co-starred with Octavia Spencer on the Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told. She appears in the third season of Central Park as Morgan Freewoman, a character in Molly's comic book who is the assistant to Fista-Puffs.

Ziwe, John Early, and Zoë Chao as Jenny, Gianni, and Genie

Ziwe is of course the comedian whose Instagram interviews with (often) clueless people launched her into a viral sensation and eventually a Showtime series. John Early broke through with his role in Search Party and is yet another star of The Afterparty. Zoë Chao is another star of The Afterparty who's appeared in films opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Downhill) and Cate Blanchett (Where'd You Go, Bernadette?), as well as the Anna Kendrick season of Love Life. In Central Park, the three stars voice a trio of Millennial content experts tasked with burnishing Bitsey Brandingham's internet presence.

Kevin Corrigan as Louie

Character actor Kevin Corrigan has been been an indie cinema stalwart for decades now, appearing in films like Walking and Talking, Results, and Seven Psychopaths. He also portrayed Uncle Eddie on the Fox sitcom Grounded for Life, played one of the hitmen in Pineapple Express, and most recently played Pete Davidson's boss in The King of Staten Island. This season on Central Park, he plays Louie, a longtime street vendor in Central Park who ends up needing Owen and Cole's help.

Ike Barinholtz as Billy

Yet another star of The Afterparty, Ike Barinholtz voices Billy, another, more troublesome street vendor who Owen has to deal with. Barinholtz is a comedic actor who starred in The Mindy Project as Morgan, as Seth Rogen's best friend in Neighbors, and as one of a trio of overly concerned parents in Blockers. Most recently he co-starred with Nicolas Cage in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, and he'll soon have a role in HBO's Watergate drama The White House Plumbers.

Nicole Sullivan as Julia Flan

Nicole Sullivan was one of the founding cast members of Mad TV, parlaying that into recurring roles on The King of Queens and Scrubs, and as the voice of Joan of Arc on Clone High. In Central Park she voices Julia Flan, a talent manager who's involved in Abby's quest to become a successful actress.

Central Park returns to Apple TV+ for its third season on Friday September 9, with new episodes dropping weekly through November 18.
