As Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot's alleged affair drama continues to generate a buzz online, a man claiming to be fired from Astronomer has gone viral.
For context, Byron, CEO of Astronomer, made headlines after the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts (July 16) caught him in an embrace with Cabot, the company's HR chief. Videos of the moment circulating online show them being visibly uncomfortable, prompting Chris Martin to joke:
"Oh look at these two... either they're having an affair or they're very shy."
Since then, netizens have speculated on their relationship, with many harshly criticizing the pair for allegedly cheating on their respective partners. It is worth noting that neither Byron nor Cabot has publicly commented on the development.
I was fired from Astronomer today. I ran our company’s events team.

Turns out our CEO and Head of HR were having an affair and got caught at the Coldplay concert that I bought the company tickets to.
They blamed me for getting caught and fired me on the spot.
Taking some…
Amid the controversy, X user Alex Cohen (@anothercohen) claimed Andy Byron sacked him for booking the tickets to the concert. He alleged that they "blamed" him for getting caught and "fired (him) on the spot."
However, a quick search on LinkedIn revealed Cohen has never worked for Astronomer. Subsequently, Andy Byron never fired him.
In his X post, Alex Cohen claimed he ran the "events team" at Astronomer, stating:
"I was fired from Astronomer today. I ran our company’s events team. Turns out our CEO and Head of HR were having an affair and got caught at the Coldplay concert that I bought the company tickets to."
He continued to add that he would start "looking for jobs soon." In a subsequent post (since deleted), shared a few hours later, Cohen alleged he was "just hired" by Hello Patient.
Soon another user, Alejandro Cabral (@AleCabralSocial), called out Alex, writing:
"Why is your linkedin not showing you worked there, and having launched hellopatient more than 8 months ago?"
Cabral included screenshots from Cohen's LinkedIn page and an October 2024 article by Fierce Healthcare as proof. Comments under Alejandro's post suggested it was an "engagement farming" tactic.
Per Alex Cohen's LinkedIn page, he co-founded Hello Patient alongside Nick DeRobertis in April 2024, launching the company in October. Notably, he is currently the CEO of the start-up. Further, per Fierce Healthcare, the company provides AI-generated call agents to help medical practices offload the tasks carried out by front office staff. This includes calls or texts related to scheduling appointments, referral follow-ups, and even prescription refills.
According to community notes, the post was a way for Cohen to advertise his own company.
Wow I can't believe the CEO of Astronomer is doing damage control on Truth Social pic.twitter.com/5xD2jboY9s

Notably, Alex Cohen has continued to share posts related to the Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot controversy.
On Thursday, he shared a tweet alleging Byron shared a "damage control" post on Truth Social. He included an alleged screenshot of a post on the platform by Andy Byron using the account @realAndyByron. The post claimed the kiss cam footage was "fake" and that he and Cabot were "just friends."
According to community notes, there is no such account on Truth Social.
Cohen even reposted his tweet claiming he was fired from Astronomer with the message, "I don’t understand how this continues to work," suggesting the post was a hoax.
Notably, neither Andy Byron nor Kristin Cabot has publicly commented on the development.
