Bachelor in Paradise season 10 returned with episode 5 on Monday, July 28, 2025, continuing the drama-filled journey as couples faced unexpected challenges and shifting dynamics.
One of the key developments this week was Jill’s voluntary exit after growing frustrated with her connection to Sean.
Her decision, paired with new arrivals and an unusual group challenge, added to the emotional highs and lows for many cast members.
The episode did not include a rose ceremony, but tensions rose during a “chemistry test” that required the men to perform mating dances in bird costumes.
Jill became upset when Sean showed more interest in another contestant during the challenge, leading her to question their relationship. Feeling overlooked and hurt, she ultimately decided to leave Paradise.
New contestant Allyshia Gupta arrived and quickly drew attention, stirring concerns among some of the women.
Meanwhile, several existing couples, including Parisa and Brian, faced tension behind the scenes despite winning the group challenge.
By the end of the episode, host Jesse Palmer revealed that only three women would be eliminated at the next rose ceremony due to Jill’s early departure.
Parisa and Brian’s relationship hit a rough patch despite their win in the bird-themed challenge. Although Brian joked about their time together, saying,
“We’re gonna flock tonight.”
Parisa wanted to use the private moment to ask him meaningful questions. When she inquired about simple topics like his favorite color, Brian called her “embarrassing,” which led to tension between them.
The next morning, Parisa admitted the experience brought up doubts, saying it made her question the strength of their connection.
Meanwhile, Brian told Jeremy that Parisa had been putting “pressure” on him for intimacy, although he claimed he wasn’t ready to take that step.
His comments and behavior left viewers wondering whether the couple could move forward after their disagreement.
Other couples in Bachelor in Paradise, such as Andrew and Alexe and Spencer and Jess, saw no major changes. However, Jeremy’s conflicting feelings about Bailey raised concerns.
Despite previously insisting on exploring something with Susie, Jeremy admitted to Brian that he had “f***ed up” with Bailey. Brian noted Jeremy had been “telling Bailey a lie,” adding to the tension in the group.
Jill’s growing frustration with Sean became more apparent during the week’s challenge in Bachelor in Paradise.
After watching him dance with another contestant, April, she felt ignored and hurt.
“Sean doesn’t care if I live or die,” she said, before later concluding he only kept her around for convenience.
When Sean began showing interest in newcomer Allyshia, Jill chose to leave Paradise altogether, stating, “This happens every time.” Sean made little effort to convince her to stay.
Allyshia’s arrival had ripple effects beyond Sean and Jill. She flirted with Dale during the group challenge, leading Kat to question her own standing with him.
When Allyshia considered asking Dale on a date, he encouraged it, saying, “Please do!” However, Allyshia ultimately asked Sean instead, which allowed her to avoid further tension with Kat in Bachelor in Paradise.
Elsewhere, Gary and Nancy participated in a cacao ceremony, which lifted their mood but did not solidify a lasting connection.
Faith opted for a horseback riding date with Kathy after her preferred partner, Kim, was unavailable due to a medical issue. Faith hoped the outing would help Kathy overcome her fear of horses.
As the episode ended, Jesse Palmer announced that three women would be sent home at the next rose ceremony, raising the stakes for all remaining contestants.
