Dancing With the Stars’ Robert Irwin reportedly offered new television gig amidst growing popularity

It seems like Robert Irwin's popularity is getting huge attention outside the dancing ballroom. As per New Idea, Robert Irwin might have reportedly tapped down as a host in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! for American audiences. Robert Irwin has been gaining considerable attention as he is currently competing on the dance show, Dancing With the Stars. 

As per New Idea, there have been significant discussions about how Robert Irwin has “the charisma, the humour and that genuine love for the outdoors that Americans absolutely adore.”

It has been further reported that, “everyone sees him as the next big global wildlife presenter and the timing couldn’t be better.”

Dancing With the Stars' alum Robert Irwin calls Terri Irwin, “one of his biggest heroes”

During the "Dedication Night" on Dancing With the Stars, the wildlife conservationist opened up about how his mother, Terri Irwin, exemplifies strength and how she serves as a role model for him.

Robert Irwin stated how his mother taught him how to be strong, and he thinks so many people forget what strong means. In an interview with PEOPLE, the television personality said, 

“You think strong is like steadfast, you show up, you just carry on, and everything's fine. That's not what strength is."

Robert Irwin pointed out that true strength is being able to find and feel one’s own vulnerability, own emotion, and use that to carry oneself and to “hopefully try and help others and to create a community.” 

“And my mom is just such a kind and vulnerable and strong and steadfast human being, and she teaches me every day what it is to put one foot in front of the other, even when it's so hard to do that."

Is Robert Irwin signed up for the next  'The Bachelor'?

As per New Idea, Terri Irwin is quite pleased at the prospect of Robert taking on the hosting opportunity. Some reliable sources have revealed that Terri feels it will be good to host US I’m A Celebrity as it will help in “keeping with their wholesome family brand”. 

It has been reported that the producers of The Bachelor US are trying to rope in the DWTS alum to be their next suitor. Robert Irwin announced his split with former girlfriend Rorie Buckley in February 2024. While confirming his relationship status as single, in an interview with Today, 

“My life is a whirlwind, it’s an adventure. I would love to be able to share that with someone and to share those little moments.” It’s something you kind of can’t rush. It just has to happen and you’ve got to be open to that,” he said. “I know she’s out there and I look forward to it.”

However, as per New Idea, sources have confirmed Terri Irwin has stepped in and advised Robert to not do the show, as she is not okay with the idea of having her son surrounded by beautiful women, with supposed ulterior motives. Robert Irwin is all set to star in Zootopia 2, and he voices a koala named ‘Robert Furwin’.
