As the internet is discussing the Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR Chief Kristin Cabot's alleged affair, a picture supposedly from The Simpsons is spreading on social media. Some netizens have reposted the image, which shows Homer Simpson looking towards the kiss cam screen, and a couple being shocked after being captured.
The image replicated the actual incident that occurred on July 16, 2025, at Coldplay's concert at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. For the unversed, Astronomer's CEO, Andy Byron, who is married to Megan Kerrigan, was spotted hugging his company's HR Chief, Kristin Cabot, at the Coldplay concert.
The "kiss cam" captured their hug, as well as their surprised reaction, as Byron knelt, trying to avoid the camera, and Cabot turned around.

The Simpsons is known for unintentionally making predictions that come true. However, the picture circulating on the internet is fake, as it is generated by AI. A similar episode titled 'Kiss Kiss' aired on the show's season 28. In which Homer and Marge Simpson end up on a kiss cam at a baseball match, and they kiss.
Soon after the two Astronomer employees went viral on the internet, TMZ obtained video footage on Friday (July 18, 2025). The video was filmed from behind the two, and Byron and Cabot were spotted kissing while Coldplay's hit song Yellow was being performed.
Neither of them has come forward after the incident went viral; however, Astronomer released a statement on July 18, 2025, stating that they would initiate an internal investigation and look into the alleged affair. The New York-based startup noted that no other employee was present at the concert.
According to Axios's July 18, 2025, report, Astronomer sent both Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot on leave, and Pete DeJoy was made the company's interim CEO. DeJoy was previously known as Astronomer's co-founder and chief product officer.
The media outlet also reported that the two are allegedly planning to resign, and Byron is reportedly negotiating his exit package.
Megan Kerrigan, the CEO of Astronomer, had numerous family pictures on her Facebook profile, including photos of her hiking and attending graduations. It is unclear whether the couple had any kids or not.
After the alleged affair made headlines, hawk-eyed netizens noticed Kerrigan dropped her married name at first. Then she deleted her account on Thursday (July 17, 2025).
Meanwhile, The New York Post reported on July 18, 2025, that Astronomer's head of HR, Kristin Cabot, is reportedly married to Andrew Cabot, who is the CEO and COO of Privateer Rum distillery. The media outlet obtained property records of the two and stated that they allegedly bought a house in February 2025 for $2.2 million.
Kristin Cabot was previously married to Kenneth Thornby before they filed for divorce in 2018. Their divorce was finalized in 2022. The media outlet stated that Kristin has allegedly been married to Andrew Cabot since 2023.
Kristin's reported husband, Andrew Cabot, has not released any statement regarding the alleged affair either.
