A video of rapper Tyler, the Creator attending the graduation ceremony of influencer Chloe Clancy is making rounds online. In the clip, shared by X user NFR Podcast (@nfr_podcast) on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the Chromakopia artist can be heard yelling "Esmeralda" as Clancy walked on stage.
Chloe is the daughter of Tyler's manager, Christian Clancy, of 4 Strikes management agency. Notably, Christian also managed the rapper's former hip-hop collective, Odd Future (the rapper started his career with the group). Around that time, Chloe frequently appeared in photos and videos with the collective.

One such clip saw Tyler jokingly introducing a young Chloe as his daughter "Esmeralda," whom he adopted from "Mexico." Chloe, who was sitting beside the rapper, laughingly noted:
"It's not my name."
Tyler, the Creator (real name Tyler Gregory Okonma) shares a close friendship with Christian Clancy and his wife, Kelly Clancy. The couple co-founded the management company, 4 Strikes, which features a clientele of multiple hip-hop acts and artists, including Brockhampton's Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, and Romil Hemnani, and the late Mac Miller's estate.
During his interview with XXL Magazine for its Fall 2021 issue, Tyler praised Christian, saying:
"I owe that man my life. I’m forever in debt to him. He changed everything. He changed my life, my friends’ life."
Christian, who worked with Interscope Records, for his part, returns the sentiment. They continue to manage Tyler, the Creator, and his "147 businesses," as Clancy jokingly told Billboard last December. Talking about their close relationship, he told the outlet:
"I always say, 'I'll listen, and if I disagree with something, I'm going to say, "I think you're crazy."' And then after I say that, I'll jump off a bridge with him."
Christian and Kelly Clancy's daughter, Chloe, has known Tyler, the Creator, since her parents managed Odd Future. According to Famous Birthdays, she is an influencer who runs a successful TikTok account, boasting over 150,000 followers. Her content showcases her life and behind-the-scenes clips of the music industry. She has shared posts with the Igor artist in the past. Kelly, too, has been featured in her videos.
In Tyler, the Creator's video, where he jokingly referenced Chloe as "Esmeralda," the rapper claimed he adopted her from Mexico. When she tried to correct him, he quipped:
"She doesn't know English yet."
He continued to claim he was a "good guy" who "donated to charity," as Chloe kept trying to interrupt him, prompting Tyler to add:
"Esmeralda, calm down... We'll get some tacos."
According to her social media accounts, she turned 18 this year. Per Famous Birthdays, Chloe is currently expected to graduate from New York University in 2029.
Last week Tyler previewed his new collaboration with Doechii, Get Right, at the Louis Vuitton SS26 show in Paris. This marks their second song together after Balloon from his 2024 chart-topping album, Chromakopia.
The rapper is currently on his Chromakopia: The World Tour, with concerts scheduled in Detroit and Philadelphia this week.
