Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service episode 6 aired on June 25, 2025, on Hulu. The latest episode saw host Gordon Ramsay investigating Wilson's Secret Sauce restaurant. Located in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania, the barbeque joint faced challenges including mismanagement and debt.
To investigate the cause behind that, Gordon Ramsay conducted an investigation. While undercover, he discovered that their kitchen was not "clean."
After meeting Wilson's Secret Sauce owners and staff, Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service host revealed:
"I've been in here undercover overnight. And to the naked eye, the kitchen looks clean. It's not clean. I've done a bacteria test, and the level of cross-contamination is off the charts. Under 30 is acceptable. I took one reading, there's over 4,000. Oh my goodness me.
After conducting a thorough investigation, Gordon Ramsay went to see Wilson's Secret Sauce's owner and staff members. The sixth episode of the Hulu show featured a confrontation where staff members were shocked after learning the truth.
Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service host stated that their kitchen looked clean to the naked eye, but it was not "clean." After he carried out a bacterial test, the cross-contamination level was over 4000. Normally, it should be under 30.
Further, Gordon stated:
"Going through your walk-in, and it was overflowing with product. I've been to about 250 barbecue restaurants, and I've never seen any more than 12 items on the menu. 75 items on one menu."
Restaurant staff confessed that it has been difficult for them to manage the menu items. Soon, Gordon Ramsay revealed about having an insider among them.
"And that insider has kept me updated on what's really going on. So cut the s*it."
He asked the staff members what were the issues. One of them, Steve, shared that they were "shorthanded." Gordon walked to the notice, which stated:
"We are short staffed...Please be patient. If you ran out of patience, ask for an application."
He took it out and asked everyone about it. They said it was meant to be a "joke." Listening to that, Gordon Ramsay pointed out how a pregnant lady has been waiting for 25 minutes. He noted how everyone was just going "back and forth." Gordon added he was "embarrassed" for them and that he felt their pain.
Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service host then pointed out how the barbecue at the restaurant had won some "amateur" awards. However, he then mentioned there was a difference between running a catering business and running a restaurant. He then questioned Steve if he had spent any time at any other restaurant before he opened his barbecue joint.
When Steve responded with a "no," Gordon was shocked:
"Oh my goodness me."
Further on Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service episode 6, he asked Steve and Kelly how they had opened the restaurant. He also told Steve that they only had the staff because they were their family members. Listening to him, Steve admitted that he needed help.
As Gordon mentioned, how the restaurant has been serving "reheated brisket," Steve disagreed. He advised Steve to "close" the restaurant and stop wasting his and his family's time. He mentioned Steve should do what he was really good at, which was "turning ranches" and "fixing carburetors."
The sixth episode of Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service featured restaurant owner Steve getting emotional.
