"I'm so nervous" - 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's Pattiya arrives in Tasmania to finally be with Dylan

After more than a decade of long-distance communication, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's Pattiya from Texas finally arrived in Tasmania to reunite with her boyfriend, Dylan. Her first words upon arrival were,

"Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous," as she prepared to meet him face-to-face at the airport.

Their reunion marked a major step in their 12-year, on-and-off relationship, as the couple began living together for the first time.

Despite the long wait and challenges they faced, both expressed relief and anticipation as Pattiya officially began her new life in Dylan’s home country.

Pattiya’s arrival in Tasmania

At the airport, Dylan was seen checking the arrival status of Pattiya’s flight. Soon after, Pattiya appeared, adjusting her outfit and makeup before greeting Dylan with what she described as “doggie kisses.” In her confessional, she explained,

"I always give him doggie kisses if I haven't seen him in a while."

Dylan responded with a mix of humor and restraint, saying that the doggie kisses were "a bit much" and "a bit wet," though he appreciated her excitement at seeing him again.

When Pattiya asked if he disliked it, Dylan clarified that such gestures were fine in private but not suitable for a public place like the airport.

During their first moments together, Dylan presented Pattiya with a plush kangaroo as a welcome gift. Pattiya expressed her surprise and happiness, noting that after twelve years of waiting, she was finally there with him.

Dylan acknowledged the milestone by affirming that she was "finally home" after years apart.

First impressions of Tasmania

As Pattiya settled in, she expressed curiosity about her new surroundings. Observing the landscape during her flight, she said,

"As I was flying into Tasmania, I was looking around and I'm like, wait a minute. I was, you know, hoping to see cities and stuff. And I looked and there's just like houses scattered everywhere and just lots of dirt."

Dylan comforted her by calling their surroundings the "simple life." Pattiya echoed the words by saying that she was "adjusting" which implied that she would require a certain amount of time to get used to the slower pace of Tasmania.

While they were unpacking, Dylan inquired about her things and she told him that she had "minimized and got rid of a lot of stuff" thereby indicating her choice to downsize prior to the move.

In his confession, Dylan revealed that after 12 years of being together, he was thinking of making sure their relationship is capable of change when they live in the same place. He also mentioned that he is aware of her wanting him to "propose straight away" but he still has to feel his way.

Building a new life together

Dylan considered Pattiya's moving to be a major change in their relationship. He mentioned that the distance had "taken a toll" on them and that he was now able to start living life again. Pattiya agreed with him and said that she was really looking forward to being in Tasmania with Dylan.

As they began settling into their new routine, Dylan expressed hope that Pattiya would come to love his home and family.

"I just hope Pattiya falls in love with Tasmania, my family, so we can build a beautiful life together," he said during his confessional.

They have a funny conversation as well when Dylan inquires what Pattiya would call the kangaroo. She responded that she would like to name it "Jerry the Kangaroo." Dylan echoed the name while Pattiya was telling him that she really liked it.

When their day one was over, Dylan greeted Pattiya as if she was a new arrival in his place and told her that she was now in Tasmania. Pattiya answered that she couldn’t "believe it." The couple’s get-together was a fresh start for them to figure out life after being apart for a long time.
