Former child actor Jonathan Lipnicki discussed his acting career in an exclusive interview with People, which was released on May 7. The 34-year-old admitted he's working hard and is hopeful for the future.
Jonathan Lipnicki rose to fame as a child actor during the 1990s. He debuted in the 1996 comedy drama Jerry Maguire starring Tom Cruise and Renée Zellweger. Lipnicki also acted in films like Stuart Little, Stuart Little 2, The Little Vampire, and Like Mike. He also appeared in the CBS television series Meego and Dawson's Creek.
Lipnicki told the media outlet that he had a good time as a child actor and admitted that he's not satisfied with his career graph. However, the actor said that he believes his acting career will improve, and he is doing everything possible to make it happen.
"I had some really good things that happened when I was younger. It's totally fine to say I'm not where I want to be career-wise... This is the thing I want to do for the rest of my life, and I think you just have to believe it's going to happen and do everything in your power to take action in the right direction," Jonathan Lipnicki stated.
Jonathan Lipnicki told People that he dreams big and prays every night for "clarity." He also claimed he rejected five films last year.
"To be quite honest, I said no to about five movies in the last year. I just really want to turn this ship around. And I pray every night for clarity on where I need to go, and I'm confident the best is yet to come for me. And I think you just have to believe that. If you're going to pursue this, you're doing yourself a disservice not to dream big," the actor said.
