Scooter Braun went to Instagram to show some love on Justin Bieber's new album, Swag. On his Story, he shared a deep message, calling the album a true mark of Bieber's work up to now. He praised its full, real feel and emotions. He wrote:
"This is, without a doubt, the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date. It's beautiful, raw, and truly him. And that’s what matters."
Braun looked back at almost 20 years with Bieber, pointing out how cool it is to see an artist grow all the way. He said this new work shows Bieber's true self more than ever, crediting the star's open heart and the way he puts his life into his songs.
For Braun, Swag is not just another album, it shows how far Bieber has come as an artist brave enough to speak his truth. He said:
"I've had the privilege of witnessing his growth for almost two decades. Along every journey, there comes a time when an artist fully steps into their own and that's what he's done here. He poured his soul into this project, and you can feel it in every single run."
Scooter Braun took some time to talk about Swag's surprise album drop. He gave big cheers to the artist for putting out new tunes in a smart, almost hidden way. Braun said that the way the album came out felt just as thought-out and full of meaning as the songs on it.
Even though he wasn't part of this project, he shared real pride in seeing Swag move ahead the way he wants. He made sure to say that his trust in Swag's skills is still strong, and he's truly liking the new sounds that Swag brought out.
Braun shared that among all the new songs, Daisies is his top pick, he sees it as his standout track on the album. For Braun, that instant seemed to show an artist truly owning his own style, and for those who have been fans for a while, that's a big deal to cheer for. In his words:
"The way he chose to release it is just as intentional as the music itself and I'm happy to see him do it this way. I have played no roll in this one, but as someone who’s always believed in him, I’m incredibly proud and impressed and genuinely enjoying the music."
Before Swag was out for all to see, it was said that Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun had made up over the cash troubles they had before. This fight goes back to when Anschutz Entertainment Group, the group that runs Live Nation, gave Bieber a big $40 million in advance for his Justice tour of 2022.
When Bieber cut the tour short, the group asked for $26 million back. Braun's HYBE came forward and paid the full amount, hoping Bieber would pay it back bit by bit. Yet, people close to the matter say Bieber paid just once before more talk of debts came up, this included about $9 million in fees that Braun was still waiting for.
Rolling Stone reports Justin Bieber had 100% creative control on ‘SWAG’ for first time since parting ways with Scooter Braun:

Despite the ups and downs, people near both sides say they have set a payback plan, making way for Bieber to focus on Swag. The music, though, is getting a lot of looks: Druski, a funny guy on the 'Soulful' skit, didn't keep quiet about how he digs Bieber’s new feel. However, they finally settled the debt issue of both party.
He hinted that Bieber's way of singing has a deep surprise, even made a joke that his rich voice makes him seem like he's got the soul of a Black singer under his pop star looks.
