Why did Kehlani unfollow Chrisean Rock? Post-gym session drama explained as the singer denies claim she was intimate with Blueface

On Tuesday, July 7, 2025, the songstress took to her Instagram stories to address Rock's claims that their relationship soured after Parrish allegedly revealed her past with Blue.
Calling the claims "nasty rumors," she noted that she "separated" herself as "mother and protector of (her own) peace and safety." Kehlani elaborated that she didn't want her "whereabouts being discovered." However, she did not clarify the exact reasons. In a separate post she added:
"Ew what the hell. WERE ADULTS! WE ARE MOTHERS OMG pls I make musicccc this is not my ballllll i am literally on settttt."
For context, the drama between the two personalities began after the pair briefly connected for a gym session recently. However, a few days later, eagle-eyed fans found Parrish had unfollowed Rock on Instagram. This prompted fans to suspect the move stemmed from a viral incident last week involving Rock and her entourage.
In the clip, a man from Chrisean's team threatened to call ICE on another person over a disagreement. Netizens believed the incident led Parrish, who has previously criticized the ICE raids in L.A., to rethink their friendship.
However, in her IG stories, the Gangsta hitmaker asserted that she had decided to unfollow Rock before the said incident.
What happened between Kehlani and Chrisean Rock?
Kehlani and Chrisean Rock were spotted working out together at a gym, reported Hot New Hip Hop. However, fans soon found that the former unfollowed Rock on Instagram, prompting rumors of a fallout. Netizens, including Instagram user @nosybystanders, speculated that it might be over a man from Rock's team being caught on camera making threats about calling ICE.
According to Rap Up, last weekend Rock and her team were involved in a heated argument with a man. A person from the entourage can be heard threatening him, saying:
"You don't want me to call ICE."
It is worth noting that, in the viral video, Rock and her team can be heard calling out the man for allegedly confronting them with a "gun" and "threatening" them.
Per the IG user @nosybystanders, the exchange allegedly took place outside Chrisean's apartment the same day as their gym session. She also claimed that the victim in question was a neighbor who raised concerns about loud noise. This remains unconfirmed. The user stated:
"It took only one day for Kehlani to realize, 'This is not the person I want to be around.'"
She went on to criticize Chrisean for "surround(ing) herself" with people that are in her entourage, as it reflected back on her. The user noted that "sometimes people really be blocking your blessings."
In the comments section of the post, Kehlani clarified the situation. The songstress explained that she met Chrisean Rock at church, and the latter invited her for a session at the gym. She noted that she went because "it was the kind thing to do." Parrish continued to add:
"Idk when this apartment situation was, but absolutely not the same day. I separated quite literally the next day for my own reason. You can keep me right on out of it."
Later, the IG account The Shade Room (@theshaderoom) reposted Kehlani's comment on their account. Parrish took to the comments section of that post to assert she did not have any "beef" with Rock. She added that:
"I think she deserves incredible people around her and her sweet baby."
Parrish also criticized the Instagram account, writing:
"I absolutely believe in anyone’s ability to change and grow. we should encourage that on these pages maybe."
In response, Chrisean went on a lengthy IG livestream to share her "side of the story." Rock acknowledged that she met Kehlani at church, where they decided to have a joint gym session. However, she alleged that Parrish asked her to remove her Blueface tattoo and later confessed to sleeping with the Thotina rapper.
According to Vibe, Rock continued to claim that they were "still cool" and had moved on from the incident and were even praying together. " In her IG live, Rock even speculated that Kehlani took offense at her (Rock) asking Blueface about his supposed involvement with Parrish and unfollowed her.
Kehlani, for her part, refuted the Rock's claims. Taking to her IG stories on Tuesday, the singer stated Chrisean was "mak(ing) up nasty rumors and l(ying) on (her)." Addressing the reality TV actress, she wrote:
"I said on the shaderoom post I wish the best for you, and your family. To get triggered by that and create a disgusting rumor that doesn't fit my timeline, agenda, and is quite literally beneath me... is crazy."
Parrish added that she gave Rock a chance, not listening to people who "warned" her. She noted that she decided to "form (her) own opinion." In a separate story, she rhetorically questioned what she had to gain from the drama.
Rock has not publicly addressed Parrish's IG stories as of this writing.
