Ozzy Osbourne's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, debunked rumors surrounding her father in a series of Instagram stories on July 11, 2025. She said that she saw an AI-generated video making the rounds on social media, in which her father is talking about his death. Kelly bashed the person who made the fake video and circulated it.
Ozzy Osbourne told Good Morning America in January 2020 that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 after he fell and had to get neck surgery. Kelly Osbourne said on Friday that her father struggles with mobility issues and Parkinson's. However, he was not dying.
"So there's this video going around on social media, and it's supposed to be of my dad, and it's AI... What the f**k is wrong with you people? Why would you spend your time making a video like this? He's not dying. Yes, he has Parkinson's, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be, but he's not f**king dying. What is wrong with you?" she said.
The 40-year-old then reuploaded the AI-generated video and a screenshot of the comment section, highlighting one particular comment which stated that Ozzy Osbourne was supposedly going to pass away soon.
Kelly told the media outlets and netizens to stop writing articles and speculating on the matter. She also stated that the "suicide pact" people were discussing was "bullsh*t," and her mother, Sharon Osbourne, talked about it once, to get "attention."
"Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact. That was bullsh*t my mom said to get attention one time. My dad's not dying, stop," Kelly Osbourne said.
In an interview with The Mirror in September 2007, Sharon Osbourne shared that her father, Don Arden's, death affected her deeply. If she or her husband gets diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease like her father did, they would opt for euthanasia in Switzerland.
"Ozzy and I have absolutely come to the same decision. We believe 100 per cent in euthanasia so have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer's, that's it, we'd be off," she said.
She told the media outlet that she and Ozzy Osbourne informed their children about their decision. The same year, she brought up the idea in her memoir, Survivor: My Story - The Next Chapter.
In October 2023, Sharon again discussed the matter on her The Osbournes Podcast. With her two kids and husband present, Osbourne said that she would choose death over mental and physical suffering.
"Mental suffering is enough pain without physical. So if you've got mental and physical, see ya," she said.
In other news, Ozzy Osbourne reunited with the rock band Black Sabbath as they performed their final show on July 5, 2025, at Birmingham stadium. Various artists such as Tom Morello, Gojira, Billy Corgan, Ronnie Wood, Slayer, Travis Barker, and Alice in Chains, among others, were present as supporting acts.
