Love Island: Beyond the Villa episode 2 aired on July 17, 2025, on Peacock. The spinoff followed former Islanders as they tried to adjust to life after the villa, dealing with friendships, social media, and leftover drama from the original show.
This episode focused on changing relationships, unfinished issues, and branded events like Connor’s birthday party. Each cast member handled the new format differently — some leaned into being influencers, while others tried to fix personal problems. The group was shown at hangouts, ad shoots, and parties, with each scene bringing its own mix of tension and interaction.
Key storylines included the continued silence between Kaylor and Liv, Aaron staying out of drama, and JaNa stepping in to help while also getting involved. Leah opened up about her bond with Miguel, saying he was “healing things he didn’t break,” and Kaylor looked back on her old life with her friend Caley, showing she was unsure about her current path.
The episode ended with JaNa bringing Kaylor and Liv to the same lunch, setting up a face-to-face conversation.
Tension between Kaylor and Liv continued to build, and most of the episode led up to their meeting. Kaylor was unsure about going to Connor’s birthday party because she knew Liv would be there. At the party, she avoided eye contact, and neither of them tried to talk.
Later, JaNa set up a lunch, telling Liv about it but not Kaylor, hoping it would lead to a real conversation in Love Island. When Kaylor arrived and saw Liv, they talked about what had happened between them, but didn’t go into full detail. Liv said she felt hurt after a certain night and pointed out that Kaylor never checked in afterward.
Kaylor responded by referencing her personal history:
“I can’t trust liars after growing up with liars.”
She added that Liv should have understood, since she had also dealt with "childhood liars back in Pennsylvania.” Even though the conversation was emotional, neither of them explained exactly what caused their falling out. They both agreed things were tense, but the talk didn’t lead to a solution.
The episode ended with a “To Be Continued” message, showing that the drama would continue in the next episode.
Outside the personal conflicts, this episode of Love Island: Beyond the Villa explored how Islanders navigated post-villa life. Connor’s birthday party served as a central social event. He emphasized its importance repeatedly, showed Aaron his new purchases, and said, “It’s my birthday weeeeeek.”
Kaylor’s friend Caley came to visit from Pennsylvania, and they talked about how much had changed in the past year. Kaylor said she was “happier before Love Island.” Aaron stayed out of most of the drama. He talked to Connor and a few others about focusing on his mental health. At the party, he told guests about his plan to adopt donkeys and help animals that had been overworked.
Meanwhile, Kendall and Connor wondered why Aaron wasn’t dating anyone yet. Other Islanders were busy with brand work. Kordell filmed a promo video, and JaNa and Kaylor practiced lines for a makeup ad while also gossiping about what was going on.
Leah and Miguel went bowling with JaNa and Kenny. Leah talked about a dog rescue started by “a billionaire heiress — David Beckham’s daughter-in-law.” JaNa said she wanted to foster a dog with Kenny as a way to practice teamwork, since she hoped to have four kids one day.
